Overview

The mission of the Foundation is to assist in securing funding, and promote volunteer engagement to support the efforts of the Allen County Juvenile Center (ACJC). The program designed to lower the number of juveniles placed in secure detention is the Juvenile Detention Alternatives Initiative (JDAI) and is largely funded by grants from the Annie E. Casey Foundation.

The programs designed to confront juvenile crime include Check & Connect, BrightSteps, and Day & Evening Reporting. These programs are further described on our Programs page. You can help our community and our kids with your donation and your volunteer efforts for these programs!

Mission Statement

The mission of the Foundation is to assist in providing financial funding, and promote volunteer engagement to support the efforts of the Allen County Juvenile Center (ACJC). By doing so, the Foundation supports the ACJC’s mission to reduce juvenile crime, and to promote the general welfare of juveniles and families in our community through education and mentoring.
